Testing is as specified by the appropriate standard, or per client request.
A typical testing regime on critical components such as lifting, transport, power generation & transmission products would be hardness testing & mid-radius tensile testing to destruction.
Additional tests could include load testing, mid-radius impact testing at a specified sub-zero temperature, and NDT such as crack testing or X-Ray.
